Printing plates(PS plates and CTP plates) will inevitably have some dirty spots after processing, which are difficult to be detected by eyes. In that case, we need to examine the dirty sports with magnifying glasses under bright lighting. CPD plate detective station does has a group of fluorescent tubes installed on its top; the table mounted plate can be moved up and down; and the angle can be adjusted. A track is installed on the surface of the table to facilitate the movement of the magnifying glass.

Moreover, on the detective station, you can use density meter to test the spot density of the plate for linearization.
