Description:
It is an UV curable over printing varnish specially formulated for roller coating on papers off-line over dried conventional inks. After cured, it provides a matte surface with smooth feeling and good scratch resistance.
Application:
It offers matte surface with smooth touch, recommended to be used in highly value added printing, such as cigarette box, liquor and box, catalog, brochure, etc. It can also be used to replace the OPP (oriented polypropylene) film with the same matte .

The History
The originally established company was founded in 1912, engaged in the coating business. Chia-Chang paint company (CCP,parent company) was established in 1958, started to manufacture the alkyd coating (paint) , which was the very first paint factory in Taiwan，it was well-known in Taiwan paint industry by the brand “JET” which symbolized the “Space\" era for the human being history. After the two oil shocks in 1970s,the former chairman, Mr. Jung-Liang Liu, had the providence that the world was forced to modify the dependence on the petroleum economy especially for the paint industry. He assigned Mr. Ted Huang to launch the development of the UV resin In 1981. CCP launched the development of the UV resin. The UV monomers and oligomers were commercially available in 1984. The UV paper varnish, the UV parquet coating and the UV hardcoat on the automobile head lamp were developed on one after another in the following years, and built the good foundation for the company in the future.
The JETCOAT Corporate was founded in 1998 from the parent company CCP, specialized in manufacturing and sale of the ultraviolet curable (UV) coating. JETCOAT had the most widely ranging UV coating product lines in Taiwan. In 1999 it succeeded in developing the UV lacquer and the UV printing inks on optical disc. In 2001 it received authentication through the ISO9001:2000. As to grow fast along with the company, under the Chairman Guo Jiun Liu’s instruction in 2005, the first business department and the second business department were established separately according to the product lines. It aimed to dedicate to more specialized services for the different customer groups effectively by the time.
